I’m not a career politician or an elitist but rather a citizen who is deeply concerned about how our choices in the here and now will impact generations to come. I was the first person to file for municipal public office in Brooklyn Center for 2024, the first to have public platforms for constituents to engage with me, and I want to be the first to get to work for you. I want to put you at the center in Brooklyn Center and make your voice heard again. I want to work for the interests of all residents, not just the loudest individuals or special interest groups. I have a broad range of professional skills and experience that will help me serve you well. I am a good listener, hard-working, an innovator, and have a strong moral compass.
1. Public Safety - Crime is trending upward everywhere. People should be able to feel safe in their homes and in the streets. 2. Police Department Staffing - Though great strides have been made, there is more work to be done in order to have a roster of qualified and experienced police officers. A fully staffed PD allows for community engagement which is key to crime prevention. 3. Divided Leadership - The Council, City Manager, and city staff often seem to be at odds with each other.
I will engage with and represent all members of our diverse community by being responsive to emails and phone calls—something that seems to be a struggle for the current Council. I will also work to build strong relationships with community organizations and leaders to better understand and address the unique needs of our diverse population. Inclusivity and transparency will be at the core of my approach, ensuring that all members of our community feel valued and represented.
I will ensure transparency and accountability by advocating for detailed public reports on city projects and finances. I will push for regular audits and support measures that enhance community participation, such as open forums and surveys. Additionally, I will work with my fellow Council members to strengthen oversight mechanisms and ensure all actions are clearly communicated to the public. I will also encourage feedback from residents to continuously improve our processes.

I attend neighborhood meetings, City events, and And share information with Brooklyn Center residents on three Facebook pages to keep them up-to-date on policy and financial decisions.
Top priorities if elected:
1. Public Safety: I will continue to support our Brooklyn Center Police Department in prioritizing recruitment andretention of law-enforcement officers, as well as the implementation of alternative response And community engagement.
2. Development and redevelopment: I am committed to ensuring that all projects within the city are economically feasible and greatest impact to the majority of residents and businesses in the city.
3. Council engagement and transparency
I am committed to decisions based on the most significant impact to the most residents and businesses in our community. This includes being sensitive to the incredibly diverse and most economically challenged city in metro.
