Quality healthcare that doesn’t leave anyone bankrupt: As the daughter of pharmacists, and former cancer nonprofit director, we must work to ensure everyone gets the care they need without devastating financial consequences.

Robust education for every child: Funding our districts more fairly, supporting teachers and students so they have the tools they need to be successful.

A clean, resilient environment: Use federal funding and invest in smart, sustainable infrastructure to protect our water and keep our community prepared for the future.
I will work to reliably pass the biannual bonding bill to fund critical infrastructure projects around our state. Investments in our water, roads and projects to preserve and enhance Minnesota; which bring good, family-supporting jobs to our communities. I’ll build on the child tax credit to support families, and increase state aid to local municipalities to help lower our property taxes. I’ll collaborate to stop middlemen drug price gouging which is hurting our seniors, families and businesses.
Focusing on education, health, childcare and housing, I support working with local community-based organizations, field experts, our schools, medical experts and legislators for effective collaborative solutions, to support underrepresented communities in Minnesota. I will work to address health, housing and education disparities that exist in our state so that Minnesotans of all backgrounds have the support and tools they need to thrive.
Minnesota is in position to become a national leader in green technology and manufacturing. With a renowned research university, skilled tradespeople, and millions in Federal grant dollars earmarked for state investment in clean technology and infrastructure, we have an opportunity to strengthen our economy while improving our environment. Prioritizing this industry will create new, family-supporting jobs, deploy green tech into public buildings, improve our future, and save us energy costs.

The League of Women Voters of Minnesota and North Dakota crafted the questions sent to the candidates in the Spring of 2024. They reached out to candidates based on contact information in their public candidate filings. Candidates with email addresses were invited and reminded with emails. Candidates with only mailing addresses were sent a letter. Candidates with phone numbers received a phone call as well.

Candidate responses are published as they responded and have not been edited, except when responses were longer than the given character limit. In those cases, the responses are truncated.
