As a Council member I have always kept the needs of the community 1st. I have said what I would do and have done what I have said. As Mayor I will be the same, direct, honest individual who will only do what is in the best interest of this community. I bring a wealth of experience from my time within the community on planning commission and city council, as well as my professional experience as a project manager who is used to tackling complex problems, dealing with tight budgets, and collaborating with people with varying ideas and backgrounds. I was successful in bringing Midco high speed internet to our community and will be successful leading it through our future challenges.
1) Maintain the rural character of the community as it continues to grow and evolve. 2) Continue to keep Greenfield as a safe community to raise your families. 3) Encourage development of business and industry in the appropriate zoning districts. 4) Maintain an eagle eye on the city budget to ensure the community gets the best value for every tax dollar spent. 5) Champion our elected officials to make sure our state and county taxes are not just spent outside of our community.
Transparency, accountability, and ethical conduct of city government is a base requirement for your city to operate under. As mayor, I will ensure that it is that way. bidding for city contracts will be open and fair. There will be no "back room" deals on anything. If at anytime anyone has a question about any part of our city government, all they have to do is ask me. If I do not have the answer, I will find it.
Back and forth dialogue with residents is critical for any issue facing our community. All forms of communication are available to conduct this exchange. Many times it involves me knocking on their door and discussing whatever the issue is face to face. I always return and phone calls or emails and encourage residents to reach out to me with any concerns at any time.
I would intend to continue our strong relationship with the Hennepin County Sheriffs Department as well as the three fire departments that service us. I believe this is the most cost effective and responsible way to ensure we have the resources we need when we need them. As Sheriff's liaison I have negotiated our services to not only increase our deputy presence but have encouraged our surrounding cities to do the same this has in essence increased the deputy presence in our region.

The League of Women Voters of Minnesota and North Dakota crafted the questions sent to the candidates in the Spring of 2024. They reached out to candidates based on contact information in their public candidate filings. Candidates with email addresses were invited and reminded with emails. Candidates with only mailing addresses were sent a letter. Candidates with phone numbers received a phone call as well.

Candidate responses are published as they responded and have not been edited, except when responses were longer than the given character limit. In those cases, the responses are truncated.
