TCC board for low income families School dist 181 community education board. And with the construction knowledge. And being a resident of Baxter for over 40 years I believe it's time to give back to the community to help with the growth of our city. I have worked and lived here with my wife and 2 children and watched this city go from a small community to a very busy and growing city and I want to be part of that.
New highway construction of 210 371 which will take place starting in 2028 or 2027 to attend the open public meetings prior to construction. Keep an open mind on any and all new business and home construction in the Baxter area. Try to keep the budget for Baxter in the black. And try to find ways to help with cost new and existing roads especially for low income residents.
Listen to the residence questions and concerns. try to reassure residence that the council will have there best interests in hand. Make sure when ever possible have information at hand for the Baxter residents to read help them understand how and what impact that road and building construction will have in there area. And with the new highway construction that will be starting soon residents will need to know what and how to deal with this as and the delays and detours it will cause.
Open council meetings when ever possible. Again keeping the residents best interests in hand. Helping them to understand how and why the council made the decision to hopefully better the community. Not all decisions made by any council are easy to make and not all of the residents will understand why. But helping the residents that affected by these decisions understand why that choice was made it just may help them understand how and why that decision was made

The League of Women Voters of Minnesota and North Dakota crafted the questions sent to the candidates in the Spring of 2024. They reached out to candidates based on contact information in their public candidate filings. Candidates with email addresses were invited and reminded with emails. Candidates with only mailing addresses were sent a letter. Candidates with phone numbers received a phone call as well.

Candidate responses are published as they responded and have not been edited, except when responses were longer than the given character limit. In those cases, the responses are truncated.
