I will work for the district helping to get Nevis School a great place to learn and work for students, teachers and staff.
Supporting policy and procedures that improve the environment of the Nevis School district.

Supporting growth and offering opportunities for students to be the best they can be.

Learn and attend educational opportunities to increase my knowledge and improve my school boarding skills
I would analyze the financial budget and see what we can change.
I wish we could say that at Nevis School there is none of the racial and economic disparities. No matter the skin color or the income level all kids should be given opportunities and support to reach their full potential. I have a lot of respect for the teachers and staff at the Nevis School and how they deal with both. I like that Nevis School hires good people who care for children regardless of the differences.
I go out of my way to connect with as many teachers and families as I can. I like to listen to the different perspectives. I like hearing concerns, achievements and accomplishments of the people in the Nevis School, both positive and negative. Our Nevis district has so much happening all of the time, I love being a part of as much of it as I can.

The League of Women Voters of Minnesota and North Dakota crafted the questions sent to the candidates in the Spring of 2024. They reached out to candidates based on contact information in their public candidate filings. Candidates with email addresses were invited and reminded with emails. Candidates with only mailing addresses were sent a letter. Candidates with phone numbers received a phone call as well.

Candidate responses are published as they responded and have not been edited, except when responses were longer than the given character limit. In those cases, the responses are truncated.

VOTE411 is brought to you by the League of Women Voters Education Fund and League of Women Voters of Minnesota Education Fund. The League of Women Voters does not support or oppose any political party or candidate for office.
