Stillwater Township has been my home since 1986. After college, I spent a few years out East, but returned back to the Township knowing there was no where else I wanted to live and raise kids. I am committed to raising my children in a place that fosters the community and safety that I grew up with. My connections to the community are valuable in understanding the needs and challenges of our township.

I have a passion to resolve conflicts, ask questions to gain understanding, and find new solutions to problems. I am invested in making sure our community continues to provide amazing parks and recreational opportunities for our residents, excels in an interconnected digital world, and to finding solutions for residents to age in place.
1. Preserve Otto Berg for township residents with thoughtful implementation of the Norrell/Stonebridge Trail/Highway 96 corridor future plans is of top priority. Our park is a cornerstone of our community and to lose any part of it is not acceptable. 2. Encourage and review township ordinances to make the township a welcoming place for residents to age in place. 3.Increase Township and neighborhood communication to promote township engagement and ensure our decisions are made with all in mind.
I will continue to support the expansion of broadband access in our area which is crucial for staying relevant in a fast-paced, digital world. This is a key component to allowing our aging population to age in place. I will encourage the continued maintenance and care of our recreational areas to promote physical activity and community well-being. Will promote opportunities that will foster positive relationships between neighbors, promote town events, and community engagement.

The League of Women Voters of Minnesota and North Dakota crafted the questions sent to the candidates in the Spring of 2024. They reached out to candidates based on contact information in their public candidate filings. Candidates with email addresses were invited and reminded with emails. Candidates with only mailing addresses were sent a letter. Candidates with phone numbers received a phone call as well.

Candidate responses are published as they responded and have not been edited, except when responses were longer than the given character limit. In those cases, the responses are truncated.

VOTE411 is brought to you by the League of Women Voters Education Fund and League of Women Voters of Minnesota Education Fund. The League of Women Voters does not support or oppose any political party or candidate for office.
