I am the best candidate for this position because of my deep connection to Ramsey, my leadership experience, and my dedication to balanced growth. Having lived in Ramsey since 2013, I understand the values and needs of our community. My experience as Vice Chair of the Economic Development Authority and as a member of the Minnesota Association of Realtors® Professional Standards Committee has equipped me with the skills to foster local business, promote responsible development, and uphold ethical standards. I’m committed to fiscal responsibility, infrastructure improvements, and maintaining Ramsey’s unique character. I’m ready to serve with sincerity, stewardship, and synergy.
If elected, my top three priorities will be: 1. Smart Development: Ensuring Ramsey grows thoughtfully, balancing economic development with preserving our community’s character and green spaces. 2. Community Input: Encouraging resident involvement in decision-making, making sure voices are heard and reflected in city plans. 3. Fiscal Responsibility: Ensuring effective allocation of funds, prioritizing essential services, and reducing waste to support sustainable growth.
I plan to engage with and represent all members of our diverse community by actively listening to residents through open forums, town hall meetings, and personal outreach. I believe in fostering an inclusive environment where everyone feels heard. I'll prioritize transparency and accessibility, ensuring that important decisions reflect the diverse perspectives of Ramsey’s residents. Building strong connections across all groups will help ensure that everyone's voice is considered.
To ensure transparency and accountability in city government, I will advocate for regular public updates on key decisions, financial matters, and project progress. I'll encourage open forums and town hall meetings to gather community input, making sure residents have access to information and decision-making processes. I’ll also work to streamline communication through online platforms, making city resources easily accessible.
