If elected, my top three priorities will be fully funding education, expanding access to mental health care, and improving infrastructure.

First, fully funding education ensures every child and teacher has access to quality resources and opportunities, preparing them for future success.

Second, mental health care access must be expanded to address the growing crisis in our community by improving affordability, reducing stigma, and increasing the number of providers.

Lastly, infrastructure improvements like securing funding for Highway 65 through Ham Lake and beyond will stimulate our local economy, improve safety, reduce traffic, and create jobs. Together, these priorities will improve the quality of life for all.
To support a vibrant economy across Minnesota, I will prioritize investing in workforce development, supporting small businesses, and advancing fair wage policies. By expanding training programs and apprenticeships, we can equip workers with the skills needed for higher-paying jobs. Supporting small businesses with grants and tax incentives will spur local economic growth. To address inflation, I will advocate for targeted relief measures and policies that reduce costs for working families.
I would support legislation that expands access to education, affordable housing, and healthcare for communities of color, addressing key areas where racial and ethnic disparities persist. This includes ensuring equitable school funding, promoting homeownership through targeted grants, and improving access to mental and physical health services. Additionally, I would back criminal justice reform and workforce development programs to create more equitable opportunities for all Minnesotans.
I would support legislation that accelerates the transition to clean energy by investing in renewable energy sources like wind and solar, along with energy efficiency programs. Additionally, I’d back policies to protect Minnesota’s natural resources, including wetlands and forests, which help mitigate climate impacts. Expanding public transportation and promoting electric vehicles would reduce emissions, while incentivizing sustainable farming practices would protect our agricultural sector.

The League of Women Voters of Minnesota and North Dakota crafted the questions sent to the candidates in the Spring of 2024. They reached out to candidates based on contact information in their public candidate filings. Candidates with email addresses were invited and reminded with emails. Candidates with only mailing addresses were sent a letter. Candidates with phone numbers received a phone call as well.

Candidate responses are published as they responded and have not been edited, except when responses were longer than the given character limit. In those cases, the responses are truncated.
