Landfall City Mayor

The mayor is usually the head of the city and may represent the city in front of other government bodies. They also can preside at council meetings and appoint city workers. Eight years experience and results accomplished as your elected mayor, as follows-increased all city employees pay and benefits -planned for an met increased contracted service costs for fires, police, water, sewer and trash removal- added new business insurance to assist rebuilding after a disaster-every city vehicle is new, mil and overlay of every street is completed, new sidewalk stairway and railing 2nd/Cedar, repair of all water check valves, new retaining walling in four locations, 30new electrical pedestals, weather warning siren, new fishing pier, new computers and server for city hall/park office added parking 4-locations all of this accomplished by council and staff working together with no increased cost to residents.
1.) City and Park are safe and well maintained 2.) Lot rent stability 3.) Work with service organizations family means, open cupboards and Washington county improving livability and food security, work with council and staff to complete grant to expand community center/shelter and resurface parking pans
Annual audit of budget & accounting practices/results by outside audit firm established form for city council/HRA, meeting including citizen form and police incidents review. Training for council and staff on polices/regulatory requirements.
Open house meetings as have been done for (Bus Rapid Transit) and (shelter expansion) open session at city council meeting for citizen input and confidential complaint system
Contract services of Washington County Sheriff. Police incident review at monthly city council/HRA meeting

They reached out to candidates based on contact information in their public candidate filings. Candidates with email addresses were invited and reminded with emails. Candidates with only mailing addresses were sent a letter. Candidates with phone numbers received a phone call as well.
