I am the best candidate for the Chisholm City Council because I believe that Chisholm is desperate for a City Councilor with a vision that is as progressive as the people who live in Chisholm. I am a 1993 graduate of Chisholm High School. I have an Associates in Arts Degree from Hibbing Community College in Business Administration, earning it in 1996. I also have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Bemidji State University, earning it in 1999. I am the Vice Chairman of the Chisholm Parks and Recreation Board. I am currently a Maintenance Associate at Walmart in Hibbing. I am active at St. Joseph's Catholic Church as an usher.
The three major issues in Chisholm are as follows:1. Economic Development–I will work to bring new businesses to Chisholm and create jobs, bring in affordable housing for people to move into Chisholm. 2. Rebuild Chisholm's infrastructure (including streets, sewer, etc.) We must rebuild our infrastructure 3. City Budget–I will fight for a budget that will minimize the levy increases. We must make tough decisions on how money is spent and I will be a good steward of everyone’s tax dollars.
I plan to engage and represent all members of the diverse community by talking to and listening to voters' concerns. I would also fight to establish a Human Rights Commission within the City of Chisholm. We have had issues of racism in the past. We have had issues with ableism in the past as well. These attitudes must change if Chisholm is going to be welcoming to people who want to live here.
First of all, I will conduct myself in accordance with the City of Chisholm code of conduct and City of Chisholm code of ethics. Being that I am already on the Chisholm Parks, Trails, and Recreation Board, I am expected to conduct myself in accordance with the Chisholm Code of Conduct and Chisholm Code of Ethics. Regarding transparency, the Chisholm City Council meetings are televised by Mesabi Community Television.

The League of Women Voters of Minnesota and North Dakota crafted the questions sent to the candidates in the Spring of 2024. They reached out to candidates based on contact information in their public candidate filings. Candidates with email addresses were invited and reminded with emails. Candidates with only mailing addresses were sent a letter. Candidates with phone numbers received a phone call as well.

Candidate responses are published as they responded and have not been edited, except when responses were longer than the given character limit. In those cases, the responses are truncated.
