I am the best candidate for the school board because my commitment to this district is unwavering, and I will work tirelessly to ensure its future success.

I recognize the importance of a strong foundation in literacy, math, and science for our future workforce and for the United States to compete in a global market. Witnessing District 2895 and the entire state of Minnesota declining in these areas is disheartening. If elected, I will tirelessly push for improved resources,
Enhancing student achievement, maintaining a safe educational environment for all, and managing the district's finances in a sustainable manner.
Upon reviewing the budget, I would carefully discern between essential needs and discretionary wants. By engaging in comprehensive communication with all stakeholders, I aim to devise innovative solutions. It is imperative to consider staff and faculty reductions only as a last resort.
I would review all the facts about the problems, identify the disparities, and request information from professionals who could offer a solution. I would then conduct a comprehensive examination of all pertinent information pertaining to the issues, pinpoint any inconsistencies, and consult with qualified professionals to obtain a resolution.
I intend to maintain an open-door policy to facilitate accessibility for families and teachers. I will dedicate myself to actively listening to their concerns and soliciting their perspectives on potential solutions. Furthermore, I am committed to conducting thorough research on effective approaches to address these issues.

The League of Women Voters of Minnesota and North Dakota crafted the questions sent to the candidates in the Spring of 2024. They reached out to candidates based on contact information in their public candidate filings. Candidates with email addresses were invited and reminded with emails. Candidates with only mailing addresses were sent a letter. Candidates with phone numbers received a phone call as well.

Candidate responses are published as they responded and have not been edited, except when responses were longer than the given character limit. In those cases, the responses are truncated.
