1. Securing Women's Reproductive Rights making this national law. 2. Voting for and sponsoring legislation that supports addressing climate change. 3. Supporting commonsense gun safety legislation, including a ban on assault weapons.
Support ACA and right for Medicare to negotiate lower drug prices with big pharma. Support Unions right to organize, bargain and receive prevailing wage (Davis Bacon)
Author legislation to require methane sequestration in farming and landfill waste management. Sponsor and vote for bills promoting solar, wind and biofuels.
I will support a Federal Law legalizing access to reproductive health services for all women. I support codifying Roe v Wade into Federal Law including access to contraception and IVF. Strengthen ACA by continuing to negotiate with big Pharma to reduce costs of medications for all.
I support the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act which would reinstate the enforcement mechanism that prevented states from making changes to voting laws and practices if they have a history of voting discrimination, unless they clear those charges through federal officials.

The League of Women Voters of Minnesota and North Dakota crafted the questions sent to the candidates in the Spring of 2024. They reached out to candidates based on contact information in their public candidate filings. Candidates with email addresses were invited and reminded with emails. Candidates with only mailing addresses were sent a letter. Candidates with phone numbers received a phone call as well.

Candidate responses are published as they responded and have not been edited, except when responses were longer than the given character limit. In those cases, the responses are truncated.

VOTE411 is brought to you by the League of Women Voters Education Fund and League of Women Voters of Minnesota Education Fund. The League of Women Voters does not support or oppose any political party or candidate for office.
