First, I would expose literal criminal and constitution hating hypocrites like Heintzeman who delete critical comments from his Representative Facebook page (Which he's being sued for) while claiming to be a hero of the 1st Amendment... Oh, and then there is the problem with politicians like him who threaten local Police Chiefs if they don't support Josh. My second priority would be to have Josh prosecuted like Team Heintzeman tried with me, but failed hard. Third, I would streamline and revamp the ridiculous statutory roadblocks that keep lying establishment crooks such as Heintzeman in power and make it unfair for independents to ever contest the establishment parties that are clearly flushing our country down the toilet.
Get back to the basics considering the two-party system has completely eradicated any semblance of responsible spending. Housing schemes established to constantly have home values continually climb will be removed. The tax code will be streamlined with a flat tax so there will no longer be loopholes and tax havens that always leave the middle class on the hook paying the largest percentage of their income in taxes. Race based hobbles on businesses will immediately be repealed.
Lol, there are tons of racial disparities, but not as are popularly advertised. Non-Whites receiving over two for every one dollar Whites receive for education needs to stop along with the nonsense of race-based grants. Blacks being 6-7% of MN's population yet committing 60% of the murder, the vast majority of robbery, and virtually every home invasion and carjacking needs to be addressed. Otherwise, legislation can't "address" racial and ethnic disparities that nature has firmly established.
This is a stupid leading question and whomever came up with it should be ashamed. In any event, the environment needs to have good stewards. I think both establishment parties disingenuously use the environment as a wedge issue when it shouldn't be. It is impossible to deny that the world is significantly polluting the planet and decimating natural resources in its never ending quest to consume crap to boast a never satisfied increase of GDP; which is about the worst measure of an economy.

The League of Women Voters of Minnesota and North Dakota crafted the questions sent to the candidates in the Spring of 2024. They reached out to candidates based on contact information in their public candidate filings. Candidates with email addresses were invited and reminded with emails. Candidates with only mailing addresses were sent a letter. Candidates with phone numbers received a phone call as well.

Candidate responses are published as they responded and have not been edited, except when responses were longer than the given character limit. In those cases, the responses are truncated.

VOTE411 is brought to you by the League of Women Voters Education Fund and League of Women Voters of Minnesota Education Fund. The League of Women Voters does not support or oppose any political party or candidate for office.
