End Fraud: The billions of dollars stolen from Minnesota taxpayers is unacceptable. Make sure every penny is paid back with interest, long prison sentences, reform of programs, deportations for fraudsters. This money belongs in the hands of taxpayers & could be used on schools, roads or nursing homes.

Lower the Cost of Living: Repeal expensive mandates like the new electric standards driving up the costs for all families. Lower taxes so there's more money in the pockets of taxpayers.

High quality education: Focus on literacy, skills, discipline & local control in our schools. Pay our teachers more and less on bureaucracy in the Department of Education. Stop the nonsense of radical social issues and boys playing in girls' sports.
Minnesota has become uncompetitive in its business climate. It's easier for people to defraud & steal government money than for an honest & hard working person to start a business. We need less regulation, permit wait times & lower taxes. The economy often work in Minnesota DEPSITE the expensive & wasteful state government, not BECAUSE of it. The law should change so the students getting free tuition must stay here for at least 5 years so we have payback & workforce. Use common sense.
I am a sixth generation Minnesotan. My ancestors did not come here for welfare and handouts, but to work hard, play by the rules and make a better life for their children. Laws should be equal for everyone. Have schools that work so people have quality education. I am not going to support more government programs. We have plenty. There are many racial and ethnic Minnesotans that are working hard, thriving and playing by the rules, just like my family has done.
No. There hasn't been a clear explanation as to why this is needed. There has been some discussions that litigation would occur that would interpret this to force taxpayers to pay for trans surgeries & other ridiculous things. Until there is absolute, clear reasoning for this, I will not vote for it. DFLers controlled the legislature & could have passed this as a proposed Constitutional Amendment in 2013, 2014, 2023 and 2024 and refused to do so. There's a reason for that.
We all want clear air and water. I am a strong support of fighting litter and pollution. As long as science proves that there are certain things that need to be regulated, I will stand in support of government protections. Minnesota has more environmental laws than almost any other state, so thinking of additional legislation is a challenge.
I am proud to be endorsed by the Minnesota Police & Peace Officers Association. I support long sentences for violent criminals; I support repeal of the DFL program passed in 2023-24 that allows violent offenders to get out early; I support using the Appleton Facility to house prisoners; I support local law enforcement to coordinate with ICE so violent offenders are deported in an orderly fashion and not living amongst us. All fraudsters who are not citizens should be deported after prison.
We have very strict limits in Minnesota elections and I support them. That includes contribution limits, spending limits, no allowing corporations to donate to candidates. Not allowing PAC's and lobbyists to donate during the Legislative Session and strict limits on their donations. We also have strict and open reporting for all candidates and committees. If there are more ideas on keeping elections fair and clean, I am open to them.

The League of Women Voters of Minnesota and North Dakota crafted the questions sent to the candidates in the Spring of 2024. They reached out to candidates based on contact information in their public candidate filings. Candidates with email addresses were invited and reminded with emails. Candidates with only mailing addresses were sent a letter. Candidates with phone numbers received a phone call as well.

Candidate responses are published as they responded and have not been edited, except when responses were longer than the given character limit. In those cases, the responses are truncated.
