My priorities will be structural electoral reform and addressing cost of living. Because the ability of Americans to have a say in out government has deteriorated enormously. The data has show that for the bottom 90% of Americans we have no influence on bills in congress. And we must addressing the affordability crisis that has arisen from a government that does not listen to us.
I will support workers and unions. And fight to make sure every job gets and inflation level pay increase every year not just the C suit. I will also support minnesota cooperatives like CHS, Land'O'Lakes, Health Partners, Credit Unions and more who are democaticly owned and run. As they aren't driven by a need to ship value for share holders out of state but work to better our communities through thier community ownerships.
We need to lift our historically disadvantaged communities out of poverty. This means actually investing in our inner cities and not just the suburbs. Funding and renovating our Minneapolis and St. Paul public schools so they are some of the best in the state not the most forgotten.
Yes. We are all equal and this is decades over due. We'll if you look at the equal protections clause in the us constitution this is well over a century over due.
I support a moratorium on sulfate and other hazardous minning in the boundary waters watershed. And a moratorium on data centers. Since they are known to pollute water and also with thier power generators pollute the air.
I would support legislation changing and increasing the standards of training for law enforcement officers. Turning away from the dangerous style of training we have seen for decades that emphasizes looking tough on crime but ultimately puts the lives of officers and civilians at greater risk. No officer or civilians should die unnecessarily so a politician can look tough on crime. We need really preventive measures to stop crime before it happens.
Increase the public subsidy program. And make the pcr system more accessible for voters. Also go the montana rout of stripping minnesota incorporated entities of the corporate personhood that let's them spend money in our elections.

The League of Women Voters of Minnesota and North Dakota crafted the questions sent to the candidates in the Spring of 2024. They reached out to candidates based on contact information in their public candidate filings. Candidates with email addresses were invited and reminded with emails. Candidates with only mailing addresses were sent a letter. Candidates with phone numbers received a phone call as well.

Candidate responses are published as they responded and have not been edited, except when responses were longer than the given character limit. In those cases, the responses are truncated.
