My top three priorities are creating economic opportunities, protecting our environment, and bringing communities together. I will continue working to make the East Side a place where families and businesses can grow and thrive. That means supporting workforce development, improving our neighborhoods, and investing in projects like The Heights that create new opportunities. I will also fight to protect our clean air and water, parks, natural resources, and cultural heritage. My goal is to build a stronger future for the next generation while making sure the people I represent are heard.
As a member of the Jobs & Economic Development Committee, I will continue working to strengthen Minnesota's economy and create good-paying jobs. I support workforce training, small businesses, and economic development that creates opportunities in our district. I will also work to address rising costs of housing, child care, transportation, and other everyday necessities. Families should be able to afford a good quality of life while businesses have the resources they need to grow.
I believe everyone deserves a fair opportunity to succeed, regardless of their background or where they come from. This includes improving access to education, affordable health care, housing, and economic opportunities. I will also support minority-owned businesses and work to address environmental injustices that disproportionately affect communities of color. We must recognize these disparities and make sure our laws and public investments work for all Minnesotans.
Yes. I support adding the Equal Rights Amendment to the MN State Constitution. It is long overdue. Everyone deserves equal rights and equal protection under the law, regardless of sex, gender, race, or background. Our Constitution should reflect our values and protect the dignity, freedom, and equal treatment of every Minnesotan.
As Chair of the Environment, Climate & Legacy Committee, protecting Minnesota's natural resources is one of my top priorities. I support holding polluters accountable, address harmful chemicals like PFAS, and investing in clean water and restoring areas like Pig Eye Lake. We must also strengthen environmental protections and carefully consider how pollution and major projects affect the health of nearby communities.
Everyone deserves to feel safe in their neighborhood. I support common-sense gun safety measures, including background checks and red-flag laws. We must also invest in young people, expand access to mental health resources, and strengthen partnerships between residents, community organizations, and law enforcement. Public safety means preventing violence, responding to problems, and building trust within our communities.
Our elected officials should be accountable to the people they represent, not wealthy donors or special interests. I support stronger disclosure requirements for campaign contributions and independent spending, along with closing loopholes that hide where money comes from. Voters have a right to know who is trying to influence our elections and deserve transparency in our political system.

The League of Women Voters of Minnesota and North Dakota crafted the questions sent to the candidates in the Spring of 2024. They reached out to candidates based on contact information in their public candidate filings. Candidates with email addresses were invited and reminded with emails. Candidates with only mailing addresses were sent a letter. Candidates with phone numbers received a phone call as well.

Candidate responses are published as they responded and have not been edited, except when responses were longer than the given character limit. In those cases, the responses are truncated.
