I have been serving the City of Crosby in my role as Chair of the Planning and Zoning committee for the last 3 years and have been involved with various city affairs since joining the committee in 2022. I am acutely aware of our housing issues as we chose to align with Crow Wing County on short term rentals.
I’d like to find a better solution for housing by bringing long term rentals back from being short term, so that, more residents may live in Crosby year round.

Winter parking restrictions are leading to issues with building new apartments. We need to find a way to allow for construction, while also ensuring public works can maintain the roads.

I’ve heard childcare be mentioned as a need in our community numerous times. I’d like to learn more about how the city may assist.

As a Business Analyst in software development, I regularly bring together people with different perspectives and priorities to understand problems and find solutions that work for everyone. I would bring that same approach to the council: listen to our residents, consider all perspectives, and work collaboratively toward practical solutions that serve the entire community.
I don’t believe that governments should have any privacy. Everything that happens should be made publicly available to all residents. I’ll do everything in my power to make sure nothing is hidden from the community.

As a Crosby homeowner for 36 years, I have a vested interest in our community. My experience as a council member and my knowledge of our city's infrastructure is an advantage to all Crosby's residents.

I care for our residents and provide a listening ear for problems and concerns. I work hard on the issues that face our community and support your right to be a voice in your city government. As your Council Member, I will keep an open mind, I will listen to all options and will make sound decisions to benefit the the majority of our taxpayers.
Managing the tax levy and city budget while providing the necessary services to the citizens of Crosby.

Continue rebuilding our city infrastructure streets, water, sewer, curb and gutter, storm sewer and sidewalks.

New playground equipment in the park. Design and rebuild with public input. Simply put it's near end of life, we need to put children's safety first.
I have an open door policy and I am willing to visit with any one, by phone or in person.
I will continue to make sure our staff has checks and balance practices in place. Twice monthly we review and authorize payment of the bills which the public has access to. Yearly required independent audit reviews.

The League of Women Voters of Minnesota and North Dakota crafted the questions sent to the candidates in the Spring of 2024. They reached out to candidates based on contact information in their public candidate filings. Candidates with email addresses were invited and reminded with emails. Candidates with only mailing addresses were sent a letter. Candidates with phone numbers received a phone call as well.

Candidate responses are published as they responded and have not been edited, except when responses were longer than the given character limit. In those cases, the responses are truncated.
