I'm excited to serve the residents of Farmington. I've served on the Farmington Planning Commission from 2018 to April 2026. In April of 2026 I was appointed to the open City Council position for the remainder of the term. My goal is simple: to listen, learn, and represent our community with honesty, transparency and dedication with my heart. I'm invested in the community.

Over more than two decades in public service as a Police Officer, I have learned the importance of listening, building relationships, making thoughtful decisions, and being accountable to the people I serve.

Every resident deserves to know what is happening within every department of city government , and I am committed to open and accessible leadership.
1. Strengthen local economy- Strong local economy creates jobs, supports small businesses, attracts new businesses and services, increases community investment and improves residents' quality of like. 2. Responsible spending- I’ll be a careful tax steward, promoting transparency, accountability, and efficient city operations. 3. Public Safety- Ensuring our police and fire departments have the resources they need to keep our community safe.
I plan to engage with and represent all members of our diverse community by listening, seeking input from different perspectives, and creating opportunities for open, respectful dialogue. I will build trust and make solid decisions that reflect the entire needs of our community no matter what. Everyone in the community needs to be heard and valued.
The city can never have enough communication and transparency with our residents. I will work to ensure information is shared clearly, consistently, and in a timely manner. I will encourage the city and myself to engage residents more frequently and in new, accessible ways, while welcoming questions and feedback. Accountability starts with listening, communicating openly, and following through on commitments.

The League of Women Voters of Minnesota and North Dakota crafted the questions sent to the candidates in the Spring of 2024. They reached out to candidates based on contact information in their public candidate filings. Candidates with email addresses were invited and reminded with emails. Candidates with only mailing addresses were sent a letter. Candidates with phone numbers received a phone call as well.

Candidate responses are published as they responded and have not been edited, except when responses were longer than the given character limit. In those cases, the responses are truncated.
