I believe I am the best candidate because I will put Lakeville families first. My leadership philosophy is based on servant leadership: listen to residents, ask tough questions, and make decisions based on what is best for our community. I believe infrastructure must come before expansion and growth should pay for growth—not existing homeowners. I will fight to protect our water and natural resources, support our schools and public safety, and demand transparency at City Hall. I oppose NDAs that keep residents in the dark and developments, including massive data centers and bottling plants, that place unnecessary demands on our resources. I will work for the people of Lakeville, not special interests.
My top three priorities are responsible growth, protecting Lakeville families, and transparency. First, infrastructure must come before expansion, and growth should pay for growth. Second, I will protect our water, environment, and taxpayers from developments like massive data centers and bottling plants. Third, I will restore trust through open government—no NDAs, no secret deals, and a stronger voice for residents in decisions affecting their neighborhoods.
I believe every Lakeville resident deserves a voice at City Hall. I will practice servant leadership by listening first, being accessible, and engaging residents from every neighborhood, background, age, and ability. I will support open meetings, community forums, and meaningful public input before major decisions are made. Whether you have lived here for 40 years or just moved here, I will listen, treat you with respect, and represent you—not special interests.
Transparency starts with open government. I will oppose NDAs and closed-door agreements that keep residents from knowing how decisions affecting their community are made. I will push for clear reporting on spending, taxes, development agreements, and major projects. I will encourage public input before—not after—important decisions. City Council members work for the residents, and residents deserve honest answers, accessible information, and accountability.

I bring a unique combination of professional experience, community advocacy, and a genuine commitment to Lakeville. With more than 15 years in Business Administration, I have supported organizations through strategy, communications, and compliance—experience that translates directly to thoughtful, effective leadership. As a grassroots community advocate, I have worked to amplify the voices of those who are struggling or too often overlooked. As a mom and wife of a Veteran, I understand the importance of a safe, connected community where families can thrive. I lead with empathy in action, thoughtful decision-making, collaboration, and a commitment to showing up and getting things done.
Transparency, community belonging and thoughtful growth are my priorities. I believe we need transparency when it comes to new technologies, like data centers and flock cameras. I believe everyone should feel safe to call Lakeville home, regardless of political, religious, ethnic or economic background. Lastly, is thoughtful growth, not just growing for the sake of growing. We must ensure that when growth happens, we are mindful of our resources, infrastructure and school supports in place.
I plan to engage diversity through community outreach and social media. I believe in transparency and showing up when it matters, not just when it is convenient or when you are directly affected. You can't always expect people to come to you, sometimes you need to go to them. To make this happen, there needs to be safe spaces in the community that allow all populations to feel represented and heard.
I believe in ethics training for all government offices. The public should have easy access to city documents in an easy-to-read and multi-language format, across a variety of platforms. City officials need to be accessible and fair. I am in support of promoting public conversations before important decisions are made.

The League of Women Voters of Minnesota and North Dakota crafted the questions sent to the candidates in the Spring of 2024. They reached out to candidates based on contact information in their public candidate filings. Candidates with email addresses were invited and reminded with emails. Candidates with only mailing addresses were sent a letter. Candidates with phone numbers received a phone call as well.

Candidate responses are published as they responded and have not been edited, except when responses were longer than the given character limit. In those cases, the responses are truncated.
