Spring Park City Mayor

The mayor is usually the head of the city and may represent the city in front of other government bodies. They also can preside at council meetings and appoint city workers. I am the current Mayor of Spring Park and I am passionate about the future success of the city. I served on the Spring Park City Council from 2019 to 2024 and have served as mayor since 2024. I have experience in a wide range of topics, including infrastructure upgrades, city zoning, financial planning, community events, pedestrian safety and managing contracted services. My family and I love Spring Park, and I would be honored to serve another term as your mayor.
My top priorities are: 1) Continuing critical infrastructure investments, including roads, sewer, water and our treatment plant; 2) Responsible financial planning to limit the impact of these investments on taxpayers and utility rates, while pursuing outside funding; and 3) Protecting our quality of life through clean water, pedestrian safety, strong public services and transparent communication. These priorities will keep Spring Park strong, safe and sustainable for years to come.
Transparency starts with open communication. I will continue making city information accessible, welcoming public input, and clearly explaining the reasoning behind major decisions. I will hold myself, the Council and staff accountable for responsible use of taxpayer dollars and adherence to laws and policies. Most importantly, I will remain accessible to residents, listen to differing viewpoints and make decisions based on what best serves Spring Park as a whole.
I believe local government works best when residents feel heard. I will remain accessible by phone, email and in person, actively seek feedback on important issues, and encourage participation at meetings, open houses and community events. I will listen to all perspectives, ask questions and follow up on concerns. Even when we may not agree, residents deserve to know their input was heard and thoughtfully considered.
Public safety starts with strong relationships between residents, city leaders and law enforcement. As a member of the Police Commission, I work directly with our law enforcement partners and will continue supporting responsive, professional service and community engagement. I will advocate for effective public safety tools while carefully considering cost, privacy and resident concerns to keep Spring Park a safe and welcoming community.
