I bring eight years of proven City Council experience, along with professional experience in law, compliance, communications, project management, and business. I have worked on the issues Maple Grove is facing now—public safety, budgeting, development and redevelopment, infrastructure, parks, transportation, and long-range planning. I also understand how city government works and how decisions made at the council table affect residents and businesses. After more than two decades in Maple Grove, I know this community well and have a demonstrated record of service. I would return to the council prepared to contribute immediately, ask thoughtful questions, work collaboratively, and keep the focus on Maple Grove residents and priorities.
My top three priorities will be public safety, responsible stewardship, and thoughtful growth. I will support strong police and fire services, ensure tax dollars are used carefully and transparently, and guide development and redevelopment in ways that protect neighborhoods and Maple Grove’s quality of life. These priorities are essential as our community continues to grow and approaches full build-out.
I believe every resident should feel heard, respected, and welcome to participate in city government. I engage with residents throughout the community and attend events that bring people together, including Maple Grove’s Juneteenth celebration and events at the Hindu Temple. I also support the city’s new Community Engagement Coordinator role, which will help strengthen connections with diverse residents, faith communities, businesses, and community organizations.
Transparency starts with clear information, open meetings, accessible records, and explaining the reasoning behind important decisions. I will ask questions, review budgets and major proposals carefully, and make sure residents can understand how and why decisions are made. Accountability also means measuring results, following through on commitments, and treating taxpayer dollars as a public trust.

I have dedicated my career to public service and have served in a leadership position for local government agencies for the past 10 years as a public health official. Prior to working in government, I served as an Emergency Medical Technician for four years. I am committed to helping all residents achieve their potential and creating a healthy, thriving community. I have a deep understanding of the issues Maple Grove faces, I am involved in community activities and informed with the city's work, and I am accessible to all residents. My wife and three young children are excited to build a future in Maple Grove, so I am personally invested in the success of the community.
1) Community engagement - I believe in communicating diligently with residents so city leaders can respond to community needs and we build trust through transparency. 2) Affordability - I intend to keep our property taxes and utility bills low and reasonable by finding efficiencies and working with community residents to prioritize city projects. 3) Upgrade infrastructure - I want to ensure our streets, parks, and trails are maintained and we protect our natural resources and environment.
I am committed to engaging with community residents of all backgrounds and viewpoints. As a growing community, we need to have systems in place to assure inclusivity, such as through developing partnerships with local faith communities, non-profits, schools, and businesses. Our diversity should be celebrated. I intend to use a wide range of tools to engage with residents to ensure all can participate in the public discourse. I believe an informed public is vital to a thriving community.
I propose modifying our city council meetings to allow more opportunity for dialogue. Information should be readily available, and residents should have more opportunities to express viewpoints with decision-makers. I also propose revising the city council to create council-member represented wards or districts, which would foster more accountability between council members and their residents. I will ensure we use public resources responsibly and that the city is accountable to the public.

Reject the proposed water conditioning plant project.Residents can’t/do not seek to support the doubling of their monthly bills and a 100’s of million dollar project. Look for other more economical alternatives.
