I am the best candidate because I bring experience, a strong commitment to our community, and a genuine desire to make Spring Lake Park a great place to live for everyone. Having served on the City Council, I understand the responsibilities of local government and the importance of listening to residents, making thoughtful decisions, and planning for the future. I will work collaboratively, remain accessible to our community, and focus on balancing responsible financial decisions with continued investment in the programs, services, and infrastructure that make our city strong.
My top three priorities would be responsible financial planning, supporting and strengthening city programs, and thoughtful planning for our community’s future. I want to keep taxes responsible while ensuring we can maintain quality services and invest in infrastructure. With limited space for growth, we need to plan strategically so Spring Lake Park remains a welcoming, vibrant community for years to come.
I plan to engage with our community by listening first, creating opportunities for residents to share their ideas and concerns, and being accessible and responsive. I will seek out perspectives from residents with different experiences and backgrounds and ensure their voices are considered in decision-making. I believe every resident deserves to feel heard, respected, and represented, and I will work collaboratively to build trust and strengthen our community.
I will promote transparency by communicating clearly about city decisions, budgets, projects, and challenges. I will encourage residents to ask questions, provide feedback, and understand how decisions are made. I will hold myself and city leadership accountable by following policies, reviewing information carefully, asking difficult questions when needed, and making decisions based on what is best for the community. I believe accountability starts with listening and being willing to explain our
