I bring executive leadership experience, academic preparation, and a perspective shaped by working across different cultures and communities. As a healthcare administrator, I have managed budgets, prioritized competing needs, evaluated outcomes, and made difficult decisions with limited resources. I am a doctorate-prepared Nurse Practitioner with a Master of Public Health, a former Peace Corps Volunteer, and part of a military and veteran family. These experiences have taught me to listen, bring people together, and lead through complex challenges. I will bring that collaborative, fiscally responsible approach to this nonpartisan role, representing all Plymouth residents.
My first priority is to listen to Plymouth residents and understand what they value and need from their city. Second, I will support strong, reliable city services—including public safety, roads, water, and parks—delivered in a nonpartisan and fiscally responsible manner. Third, I will focus on thoughtful redevelopment and lifespan housing, ensuring Plymouth has options for young families as well as seniors who want to downsize and remain in the community they call home.

I have spent much of my career working across diverse cultures and communities, where listening, finding common ground, and bringing people together have been essential. I will bring that same approach to Plymouth by engaging directly with residents, reviewing resident surveys, seeking out different perspectives, and advocating for transparency in Council decisions and public forums. In this nonpartisan role, I will work to ensure all Plymouth residents have a voice.

I bring 20 years of experience as a civil engineer working in public infrastructure and infrastructure finance. My work has taught me to evaluate complex issues, balance competing needs, understand financial constraints, and consider the long-term consequences of decisions. These skills directly apply to the responsibilities of the Plymouth City Council. I know how to examine recommendations, question assumptions, assess costs and risks, and make informed decisions. I will bring this practical experience and thoughtful approach to serving Plymouth residents.
My priorities are straightforward: Protect what works, plan carefully for Plymouth's future, and invest responsibly.
I believe in being accessible, engaging with residents throughout the community, and seeking input from those who may not regularly participate in city government. While we may not always agree, I will approach conversations with an open mind, respect differing opinions, and explain the reasoning behind decisions. My responsibility is to consider how decisions affect the entire community, balance competing needs, and make thoughtful choices that serve Plymouth today and into the future.
Transparency and accountability starts with asking informed questions, making fact-based decisions, and clearly explaining the reasoning behind them. I will carefully review recommendations, consider costs, risks, and long-term impacts. Residents deserve to understand how tax dollars are spent and why decisions are made.
I am the best candidate because I have experience that matters. My skills include risk management, financial oversight, and budgeting. I have spent 16 years in fraud prevention as part of my 18 years in finance. I currently work at a top five bank. I manage a team that supports data requests for 800+ Fraud Strategy Employees. I am the best candidate because of my community involvement. I am a percussionist in the Plymouth Concert Band. I play Plymouth Rec-League Softball. I am a Plymouth MetroLink commuter. I serve on music ministry and finance team at my UU Church. I am the best candidate because I am an established community advocate. I've built relationships with community leaders and elected officials. I am ready for the job on day one.
My top priorities are safety, affordability, and inclusion. I will put Plymouth first through: • Transparency: Ensuring every resident has a clear voice in local decisions. • Fiscal Responsibility: Managing your tax dollars wisely without overspending. • Environment & Climate: Protecting parks and lakes via our Climate Action Plan. • Equity & Resiliency: Explicitly focusing on our most vulnerable populations. • Transit & Land Use: Improving walkability, micro-mobility, and transit access.
To represent all of Plymouth, I want to move from words to actions. I will advocate for the city to co-sponsor cultural events like the Asian Fair and Plymouth Pride. I will ensure our city committees and appointments reflect our community’s diversity, and use a DEI mindset so city services, public spaces, and parks are open and welcoming to everyone. Above all, I will stay in close contact with community leaders, listening and showing up in person to act whenever our neighbors are in need.
Transparency and accountability in city government are important to me. We must open city hall doors so every resident has a clear voice in local decisions. To me, transparency means telling the whole truth. Accountability goes beyond how decisions are made—it means clearly explaining WHY they are made so voters can hold leadership responsible. I will ensure our government remains honest and open. Together, we will build a trusted community where your insight matters and leaders answer to you.
