I have been going to every council meeting for two years now i have only missed one. I go to the workshop meetings also. I have gone to planning and housing and parks and recreation meetings. I talk with my neighbors to see if they have any concerns i could bring to the city council for action if possible. I would love to get affordable housing for seniors. We need to keep property taxes at a low rate as it is presently. I will be open and honest to residence about decision the city is going to do or implement. I will vote with my constituents on projects being built in the city because i work for the residence. I will give you a open and honest member on the council. Thank you
Working on different types of affordable housing for seniors. At the present rate seniors are being priced out of the city. Keep the city moving the right direction for future at a rate the city can endure. Working with the state to put bridges or tunnels over or under HY 55 west of 494 to Hamal. Keeping property taxes at a low rate. This can be achieved with creative finance revenues, grants and financial programs.
By having listening sessions to give the residents the opportunity to express there concerns about the city, Also by having one on one meeting with the residents to talk more privately.
I will invite all residents to come to the council meetings and get involved in the workings of the city that's what i did and now i am running for city council. Come and talk with people from the city and you will learn a lot on how the city operates.
It has been an honor to serve as your Ward 2 Plymouth City Councilmember for the last four years. I am proud of what we’ve accomplished, and I ask for your support to keep going. As the #1 city in Minnesota, with the fourth largest economy in the state, we have a lot to be proud of. I’ve supported investment in infrastructure, prioritized parks, public works, public safety, and affordable housing initiatives, all while keeping Plymouth one of the lowest tax rates in the metro. I led the council on my passion – taking the Civility Pledge – to ensure we are the leaders you deserve. My record shows I have the experience and credibility to lead Plymouth into its next chapter.
1. Continue the excellent financial management delivering a steady and low tax rate for our residents while maintaining top tier city services. 2. Responsibly adopt next Comprehensive Plan, which is refreshed only once every ten years. This plan will require experience and vision. 3. We are facing unprecedented technological change. As the only attorney on the council, I bring experience in law, governance, policy, cybersecurity, and critical infrastructure - experience we will need.
No matter how experienced, the council cannot do it alone. I championed the establishment of Listening Sessions in Plymouth to better facilitate dialogue between residents and the city council. Building on this will be key to keeping our community connected and engaged for the needs of the future.
The establishment of our Listening Sessions also drives transparency and accountability. These Listening Sessions have been very well received by the community and I am proud to have championed this addition to Plymouth,

The League of Women Voters of Minnesota and North Dakota crafted the questions sent to the candidates in the Spring of 2024. They reached out to candidates based on contact information in their public candidate filings. Candidates with email addresses were invited and reminded with emails. Candidates with only mailing addresses were sent a letter. Candidates with phone numbers received a phone call as well.

Candidate responses are published as they responded and have not been edited, except when responses were longer than the given character limit. In those cases, the responses are truncated.
