My top priorities are expanding access to affordable healthcare, making life more affordable for Minnesota families, and protecting our democracy. As a nurse, I’ve seen how gaps in care and coverage hurt people, and I’m committed to fixing them. Families need relief from rising costs for childcare, housing, and groceries. And none of our progress is possible without a strong, stable democracy where every Minnesotan can participate.
I’ll strengthen Minnesota’s economy by investing in our workforce, supporting small businesses, and lowering costs for families. Expanding childcare, housing, and healthcare access helps employers find workers and helps families thrive. Addressing inflation means tackling the rising costs that hit Minnesotans hardest.
I support legislation that expands community‑led, culturally specific programs; improves access to healthcare, housing, and education; and strengthens data transparency so disparities are visible and addressed. Minnesota must invest directly in the communities most affected to close racial and ethnic gaps.
Yes. I support adding the Equal Rights Amendment to the Minnesota Constitution because equality should be guaranteed for everyone. The ERA strengthens protections against discrimination and ensures our laws reflect Minnesota’s commitment to fairness and dignity for all.
I’ll support legislation that expands PFAS restrictions, improves statewide water testing, and strengthens enforcement against polluters. Protecting clean air and water requires modern infrastructure, transparent data, and holding industries accountable so communities stay safe.
I support legislation that builds safety through prevention: gun‑violence reduction, mental‑health access, youth and family supports, and stable housing. Communities are safest when people have what they need to thrive and when we address the root causes of violence.
I support legislation that reduces the influence of big money by increasing transparency, strengthening public financing, and enforcing strict limits on corporate spending. I’ve authored a bill to functionally overturn Citizens United in Minnesota, ensuring elections are driven by voters—not wealthy special interests.

The League of Women Voters of Minnesota and North Dakota crafted the questions sent to the candidates in the Spring of 2024. They reached out to candidates based on contact information in their public candidate filings. Candidates with email addresses were invited and reminded with emails. Candidates with only mailing addresses were sent a letter. Candidates with phone numbers received a phone call as well.

Candidate responses are published as they responded and have not been edited, except when responses were longer than the given character limit. In those cases, the responses are truncated.
