To listen to residents and address their problems. To be fully informed about City Council agenda items (attending committee meetings on which I serve, sitting in on the others and attending commission meetings). To work on improving our great community by bringing people together and giving them the opportunity to see local landmarks, facilities and businesses.
I love this job. I was fascinated as I met department directors. Spending time with them and understanding what they do has been a priority, helping me be more informed for my council work and residents. I love hearing from residents, working on their problems and getting to know them. I have years as a vice president in commercial lending, serving on various boards.
