My top priorities for the Riverview Gardens School district are accreditation, improved attendance and a balanced budget.
I am a retired teacher of 29 years, 14 in the Riverview Gardens district, both as a teacher and building administrator. I have also served in the St. Louis and Hazelwood districts. I have taught elementary and middle school. While earning an undergraduate degree in teaching, I worked with secondary students in the Upward Bound program at Harris-Stowe State University.

I have been very involved in my community for many years. I attended school board meetings before my election to the Board of Education because of my commitment to the progress of my community. My dedication to education is deeply rooted in my southern family values. Education is the key to success and I want to help every child reach their full potential in life.
