My goals are to maintain the benefits of a small-town school, where everyone knows your name, by supporting and retaining the talented faculty and making a safe and supporting place for all students. Another goal is to navigate all the regulatory and funding requirements to sustain the school district and assure that it complies with all state mandates.
In my law practice, I have been appointed by the court to represent children and families for over 25 years. I presented programs for the Missouri Bar Association on child development, trauma and juvenile law. I have experience in statutory interpretation which is necessary in today's educational environment. I have been a college instructor and a Sunday school leader.

Student achievement: set clear, realistic goals for the district. Fiscal management: strategically use resources. Engage in the community and create relationships that encourage students to be good stewards of our community.
The Crystal City School District holds many wonderful memories. It prepared my daughter for college and adulthood. I am grateful to have volunteered with other parents who became lifelong friends.
