Age 42
Highest Post-secondary education Certificate, Ranken Technical College, plumbing
To continue and improve: 1) every student's education, 2) safety for students/staff, 3) financially responsible decisions. I believe every student's education is important and that it looks very different from student to student. I would like to broaden the opportunity to educate students for business and trades apprenticeships. Hillsboro safe and strong #Borobuilt.
I'm a 2001 Hillsboro graduate. I have six children. My oldest daughter graduated in 2023 and my second this year. I currently have a daughter in the primary school, a son in intermediate school and a daughter who is a freshman. My youngest is 1 so we are a deep-rooted Hillsboro family in the district since 1996 and will be here until 2046. Go Hawks.
Age 79
Concentration on the basics every semester. Not promoting to the next grade until the student has mastered the grade they are in. Better pay for teachers while balancing the budget.
I have served on the Dunklin R-5 School Board as treasurer. I have been teaching at Jefferson College for 24 years as an HVAC professor and have Hillsboro high school ATS students every semester.
Age 42
Highest Post-secondary education O.D., University of Missouri-St. Louis
If elected to the school board, I will work to ensure that students continue to receive an excellent education. As a parent in the district, I have observed transparency and good communication from the current leadership. It is important for that to continue from future leadership. The safety of our campuses is also a top priority to me.
I am a parent of two students in our district. I appreciate the education and opportunities that they are receiving. Serving on the school board would be a way for me to give back to the community and the school district that has served my children well.
Age 68
Highest Post-secondary education M.A., University of Phoenix, business administration

My priorities for the district are to: 1) maintain and retain quality faculty and staff, 2) continue to provide the diverse learning opportunities that afford all students the opportunity to achieve success and showcase their talents and 3) work cooperatively with the board, within the scope of the comprehensive strategic plan, to plan for and address future challenges.
I was the director of public safety programs (law enforcement academy, EMT/paramedic and fire science technology) at Jefferson College for 13.5 years (Hillsboro and Imperial campuses), serving in both an administrative and teaching role. I then worked four years at the Hillsboro R-3 School District in a support staff role and I was district safety trainer for staff.
