1) Community engagement: partner with parents, businesses and local leaders to support student success. 2) Completing expansion projects: ensure ongoing school expansions are finished efficiently to meet our district’s growth needs. 3) Academic excellence: support strong curricula, early learning, advanced course work and resources for students needing additional help.
I’ve lived in the Festus district for 10 years where my children (7 and 11) attend school. I’ve been a youth coach for seven years with Festus feeder, club and YMCA teams. As vice president of Twin City Little League, I connect with 550-plus students/families annually. I have strong relationships with local businesses through my past involvement with the Twin City Chamber.
