Public elected offices held City council, Ellisville, District 3, 2020-present
Incumbent? Yes
1) Put increased emphasis on our neighborhood parks that we have ignored for so long. Work to ensure we maximize safety by installing new playground equipment and surfacing to make it more enjoyable for the kids. 2) Work with the City Council to further develop small businesses along the Manchester corridor where we have so many vacancies.

I spent seven years with planning and zoning, of which three were as chairman of that business unit. I have spent the last four years as city councilman. This provides me with a solid working knowledge of how Ellisville works. There would be no learning curve.
Age 41
Highest Post-secondary education M.S., University of Nebraska-Lincoln, actuarial science
1) Ensuring that every child in Ellisville has access to a quality education. 2) Supporting policies and initiatives that prioritize the safety and well-being of all Ellisville residents. 3) Preserving Ellisville's natural beauty. Implementing sustainable housing practices, smart economic and infrastructure development which includes reducing traffic and pollution.
As a practicing actuary for over 10 years, my expertise will translate well into public office: analytical thinking - trained to think analytically and solve problems; financial acumen - deep understanding of financial systems; communication skills required to communicate complex concepts simply; professionalism - our profession is held to high ethical standards.
Age 59
I want to lower taxes. I am not in favor of larger home developments because they will result in raised taxes. I want to put a stop to needless spending. If it makes sense, then do it. Spending money just to get the same or more next year is stupid and wasteful.
I go to the meetings so I am very aware of what's going on in the city. I am opposed to larger homes being built because that will raise taxes in the end. For several years, we have posted flags throughout our yard on Memorial Day as a reminder of what sacrifice and service to others is about.
