For the past four years, I have been honored to serve as ward councilwoman for Hazelwood. Except for eight years, I have lived in Hazelwood most of my life. Many years back, I wanted to be more involved in my community. I began attending council meetings and noticed no diversity on the council. Since Hazelwood is a diverse community, that was my incentive to run.
