1) Serving all students well: advocate for resources to support Parkway's diverse students including multilingual learners, students with IEPs and gifted students. 2) Academic excellence and socioemotional learning: promote student and teacher well-being while driving academic achievement. 3) Future sustainability: ensure Parkway sustains its healthy financial status.
I am a former kindergarten and K-8 Spanish teacher. My years in the classroom gave me a deep respect for educators and a firsthand understanding of the challenges schools face in preparing students for an ever-changing world. My current work continues to reflect my passion for education. I have one child who is a current Parkway student in elementary school.

My priorities include 1) fostering an inclusive, equitable, innovative and supportive learning environment where all students can succeed; 2) ensuring teachers and staff have the resources and support they need, while continuing to recruit top talent; and 3) maintaining community trust through strong leadership and responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars.
I am a Parkway alum and parent actively involved in the district. I’ve served on the Parkway alumni association board since 2010, been a member of the district’s steering committee since 2016, supported the last two bond issues, presented to students participating in Parkway’s Spark incubator program and volunteered at my children’s school.

Expand mental health support to help students thrive academically and emotionally. Ensure a high-quality, equitable education that prepares students for success in college, trade school or a career. Advocate for educators and staff while strengthening community partnerships to enhance student success.
I am a former educator with 13 years of experience, including seven as a school counselor. I hold a national certified counselor credential and am a certified social-emotional learning facilitator, trained in trauma-informed and restorative practices. As a 200-RYT and certified children's yoga teacher I teach yoga and mindfulness to kids and teens in after-school programs.

Ensuring a safe environment that supports physical, mental and emotional health for all Parkway students, faculty and staff. Developing Parkway’s already stellar reputation by advocating for all students, teachers and staff. Working to keep our district moving forward and keeping lines of communication open and transparent with the community.
While I never became a teacher, I did receive my certificate to teach physical education K-12. I am a grandson, son, husband, brother, nephew and cousin of public education teachers. I am fortunate to have graduated from Parkway Central and have been honored to serve on the Parkway Board of Education for the past three years.
