Change policies that have created the highest turnover and lowest experienced workforce in Mehlville Fire history. Stop the defunding of fire protection as evidenced by the current board's refusal to staff the 100-foot ladder and the sale of it with no plan to replace it. Make the board more approachable and transparent with a five-year plan.
Over 40 years of public service, 33 of those as a Mehlville firefighter. College graduate. Successful business owner for 25 years. As a 46-year district resident I have a vested interest in the future of my fire protection services.

Reduce the high turnover of employees. Provide wages and benefits that are competitive with other fire districts in the county. Mehlville has one of the largest budgets but pays some of the lowest wages and benefits. Return the district to its core mission of providing emergency response to fire and medical situations.
Thirty-eight years in the fire service. Served as a planning chief for a federal search and rescue team. Deployed to several natural disasters including New York on 9/11. Served as an adjunct instructor for the National Fire Academy. Graduate of the National Fire Academy Executive Fire Officer program.

Guarantee all equipment specifications for buildings, fire trucks and ambulances are MFPD compliant.

I am a licensed professional engineer, with 40-plus years in equipment specifications, construction design and project management. My expertise guarantees that purchases are cost-effective, high-quality and tailored to meet rigorous safety standards.
