I am qualified because of my experiences and duties performed as a former City Council member and mayor. I have served the last two years and would like to continue transparency, dedication and professionalism as a fire board member.

1) Recruiting, training and retraining future firefighters who live in the fire district, creating opportunities for greater inclusion and diversity reflecting the communities they serve; 2) assisting with more community outreach events; 3) developing partnerships/sponsorships with local banks for donations to purchase carbon monoxide detectors for the residents.
What qualifies me to serve in this office is my involvement in my community. I enjoy serving the public. I currently sit on the school board (serving my second term) in the community that I am currently running in so I understand the dynamics of serving on a board and the responsibilities that come with this important position.
