Simple majority required.Ballot wording: Shall the terms of council members which are currently set at two years in the City of Black Jack, Missouri be extended to four years for members elected after April 8, 2025?Summary: This measure would change City Council members terms of office from two to four years for those elected after the April 8 election. Proponents say a longer term would increase the expertise and experience of council members, allow them to complete projects while in office and improve governance.
