Simple majority required.Ballot wording: Shall the City of Edmundson be authorized to impose an annual business license fee on commercial parking facilities in the amount of $25.00 per parking space?Summary: This measure would authorize the city to increase the annual business tax on commercial parking facilities to $25 per parking spot from $20. If passed, about $32,750 would be raised annually to fund city services. Proponents say such commercial lots, which serve nearby St. Louis Lambert International Airport, benefit from city services and should share the cost with residents.
