Simple majority required.Ballot wording: Shall the City of Edmundson be authorized to impose an annual business license fee on trash collectors and haulers in the amount of $100.00?Summary: This measure would authorize the city to raise the annual business license fee for trash and refuse removal businesses to $100 from $25. At present there is only one such trash collection company in the city, Republic Services. Proponents say that trash trucks are hard on city roads and the business should share the cost of maintaining them.
