Simple majority required.Ballot wording: Shall a maximum charge not to exceed fifty dollars be assessed annually on residential property for each lateral sewer service line serving six or less dwelling units on that property and condominiums that have six or less condominium units per building and any condominium responsible for its own individual lateral sewer line to provide funds to pay the cost of certain repairs of those lateral sewer service lines which may be billed quarterly or annually?Summary: This proposition would increase the annual fee from $28 to a maximum of $50 for a city fund that homeowners can access to cover repairs of lateral sewer lines. The sewer line between the main sewer line and the foundation of the house (not the portion underneath the foundation) is covered. The application process (obtaining three bids and providing a video camera inspection) will remain the same; coverage limits will be based on the funds available in the program.
