I’m a strong fiscal conservative. I will work hard to keep taxes low and watch for wasteful spending. I will actively listen to residents and be their voice on the City Council. I support our seniors and families and I will promote parks and public works. I will ensure that our police department has the resources they need to keep our streets safe.
I am a veteran of the U.S. Army. I have been a longtime grassroots advocate in the consumer protection sector and recently I have been working to curb antisemitism. I have built relationships at all levels of government: I know how to navigate the system to get results.

1). Neighborhoods first: provide funding for police, residential services, park maintenance and amenities. 2). Quality development: insist the remake of the mall and nearby area continues as promised. Keep intense commercial development in the Valley. 3). Responsible budgeting: continue providing services without a residential property tax. Look for other funding sources.
Council member for seven years, serving on and chairing these committees: planning and public works, public health and safety, and parks, recreation and arts. Also a past council president pro tem. I am a retired mathematics professor, which helps me view things logically and see the bigger picture. I am focused on the future of Chesterfield and have no other ambitions.
