1). Make sure city services create a place families want to live in: safe streets, walkability and desirable parks and recreation. 2). Attract businesses that support the economic needs of the city and create a vibrancy that is attractive to both residents and tourists. 3). Make sure that the city services are efficient and always put the needs of the residents first.
I have lived in University City for 30 years. I understand the unique attributes as well as the challenges of the community. I have experience in local governance: monitoring budgets, hiring an administrative leader and creating ordinances which protect and support the community.
