Flint Hill Proposition A

Simple majority required.Ballot wording: Shall the city limits of the City of Flint Hill, in the County of St. Charles, State of Missouri be extended so as to embrace and include all that part of the County of St. Charles, consisting of 3.27 acres, more or less, in uncorporated St. Charles County and generally located west of the west side of Mette Road, approximately 2,100 feet north of along Mette Road from the intersection of State Highway P and Mette Road and more specifically described in ordinance no. 2025-09, bearing parcel ID 2-0092-0145-00-0004.2000000?Summary: The measure would allow the city to annex a 3.27-acre plot that currently houses the electric power substation near Highway P and Mette Road. This is one of seven annexations the city is seeking in the April election. Supporters say this annexation is key to making all sections of the city contiguous and enabling Flint Hill to control development, and that residents of Flint Hill and nearby communities want the low-density rural character of the community to be preserved. Opponents say they do not know what benefits annexation would bring.
