Flint Hill Proposition B
Simple majority required.Ballot wording: Shall the city limits of the City of Flint Hill, in the County of St. Charles, State of Missouri be extended so as to embrace and include all that part of the County of St. Charles, consisting of 10.2 acres, more or less, located in unincorporated St. Charles County and generally located west of and adjacent to McHugh Road, south of the northernmost intersection of McHugh Road and Hillside Heights Lane, County of St. Charles, as more specifically described in ordinance no. 2025-10 of the City of Flint Hill, Missouri, bearing parcel ID 4-0083-0969-00-0002.0000000?Summary: The measure would allow the city to annex a 10.2-acre parcel near McHugh Road and Hillside Heights Lane that is privately owned and surrounded on three sides by the city. This is one of seven annexations the city is seeking at the April election. Supporters say this annexation is key to making all sections of the city contiguous and enabling Flint Hill to control development, and that residents of Flint Hill and nearby communities want the low-density rural character of the community to be preserved. Opponents say they do not know what benefits annexation would bring.
