Simple majority required.Ballot wording: Shall Article IX of the Charter of the City of Florissant be amended to remove the existing provisions governing public improvements and to provide that the procedures governing public improvements and special assessments therefore shall instead be established and modified by ordinance adopted by the City Council.Summary: The measure would amend the city charter to allow procedures governing public improvements and special assessments to be determined by city ordinances rather than the city charter. Supporters say this would allow public improvement projects to be implemented more efficiently.
