Simple majority required.Ballot wording: Shall the City of Sunset Hills, Missouri, continue to impose a sales tax of one-half of one percent (1/2 of 1%) for the purpose of storm water control or local parks or both?Summary: The measure would continue a half-cent sales tax for water and parks projects, which was first approved in 2007. In 2024, the tax brought in approximately $1.4 million. Supporters say the revenue is necessary to maintain and improve city parks and to fund stormwater control work.
